Why coach?
1. Leading a session is a easy way to contribute something back to the club.
2. Gives you time to focus on what really matters. For example spending a bit of time thinking about exactly what is involved in making a good break throw so you can plan a good session will open your eyes to the amount of variables at play.
3. Free choice of the session aims, if you enjoy break throws, you can go wild on break throwing drills. Enjoy chasing in a zone (You're strange) but you can run as much zone as you like.
4. Develop additional skills, leading a session is very different from most day to day activities .
Completely new to coaching? You can start by running one drill to find your feet and look to build from their if you enjoy it.
